There is a term used by many people and health enthusiast in popular culture, which is "detox". Many people are always advising they friends or closed ones about detoxing. There so many tale tales and facts about how one should start detoxing and how to detox your body effective.

Your cells & organs are constantly in action through many different processes in order to keep you alive. These different processes produces byproducts that the body can use in other processes, but it also produces what is known as waste. Waste generally refers to something that is unwanted or unusable material. And that is what is metabolic waste is, it products that the body produces that cannot be used any further and if they accumulate in the body can be toxic. Substances lie Carbon dioxide, water, salts, urea & uric acid are all created as byproducts, and if present in high quantities are toxic to the body.
The Body can naturally remove all these toxins, through urine and stools.Due to internal and/or external factors some are not naturally secreted and can accumulate in a body, and a detox is removing these excess waste that maybe the body is not removing efficiently due to many different factors. And that where "detoxing" came into play.
Many people swear by many different methods of detoxing, one of the effective way to detox is to fast. But it is important to note, avoid extreme fasting. which can lead to loss of nutrients by the body. Always consult to your doctor before fasting.
Fasting involves choosing to abstain from food, some food items and sometimes specific drinks and any items you want to cut out from your diet, and this is done for a specific time period. Most religions recommend fasting, and some people do it for spiritual reasons whilst others do it for their health. There are many types of fasting methods such as raw food fast, smoothie or liquid fasting, water fasting and dry fasting. Again, one should be careful not to fast for a long period of time, because the body requires a balanced diet and needs all the nutrients that may come from food we fasting from. Normally, for most fast it is recommended to do 3 to 14 days fast. Below, we will discuss some of my trusted and favorite ways to fast.
Different methods of fasting:
Raw Fruit/Veg fast
Even though there has been so much advancement in terms of technology, especially in food technology. Resulting in the production of a variety of processed foods. Which is great, but some have negatively affected our health. Some highly processed foods are unhealthy and some that require cooking, deep frying with oil and require use of microwaves. The Raw fruit/veg fast, you have to give up eating food that has been processed, any food that needs to be cooked or heated and eat fruits and vegetables that can be eaten raw, which are normally your vegetable sprouts. Vegetable sprouts are very young plants that have germinated from seeds. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. So this type of fast is said to cleanse and nourish the body.
